DESCRIPTION

Genzlinger’s Production Activity Reporting (PA) application provides management with current and historical measures of the efficiency of labor, machines and rejects as measured against preset standards. It also provides quantity and rate variances between current standard and actual labor and machine costs.

FEATURES

• Balances employee work tickets to clock cards.

• Calculates efficiency by employee, department, work center, job, part and operation.

• Calculates machine efficiency and utilization with an analysis of down time by reason.

• Calculates reject rates and costs by user-assigned reason codes to support further analysis.

• Provides information and transactions for managing rejects, scrap, rework and salvage.

• Receives bar code scanned input through the Factory Data Collection subsystem.

• Posts good pieces produced, scrap and components used to Inventory.

• Computes labor cost using standard department or work center labor rates and actual employee labor rates.

• Posts employee and job hours to payroll.

• Allows lot numbers to be optionally assigned to labor transactions for lot tracking.

• Integrates with Factory Data Collection equipment and the Routing, Inventory Management and Standard Costing applications.
